Abstract

In this paper a new PI-GA controller was used to enhance the performance of a three- phase grid connected PV system by adjusting the values of KP & Ki of PI controller of the current regulator that used to command the total active and reactive powers of the system and KP & Ki of the PI controller of the DC voltage external regulator. With the proposed controller, incremental conductance process is used for the MPPT algorithm. Finally, a MATLAB simulation model has been presented to show the proposed PI-GA controllers validity.
